Sup guys,

Well.. It had to happen some day. And today it did. 2 of my best websites got labeled as "pure spam". Now I need to send a reconsideration request. Does anyone know how long it takes before they reply?

The websites weren't really spammy. They just had little text and did well in Google (1 on high volume searches). And they didn't look that great, either.

Secondly, any tips are welcome!

Why bother with a reconsideration when your saying here that you don't know what the problem is? If you don't change anything what is Google supposed to reconsider?

Why don't you try under a new domain? I guess that will rank faster than the time it would take Google to "reconsider" lol

Dan is absolutely right. You could spend forever trying to figure out what you did wrong, or just get a new domain, get that ranked, and move on.

That only applies to sites that suck. That wouldn't be an option for anyone that's spent years working on a site or did branding with a real business name.

These domains are EMD's. Worth quite a bit and rank good. I don't want to sacrifice the domains, to be quite honest. Tips are welcome!
