Is there a free program that will let you put in the URL of one of your competitors and give you back a list of all of their backlinks?

Traffic Travis will do this, and it's free, but the free version is limited and doesn't show all of their backlink sources.

Hmm, I notice this Backlink Watch that Jill shared is powered by ahrefs. And whether you use backlinkwatch or go directly to ahref.com, your backlink search is still limited with a free account.

And when I tried the method that flavius mentioned it showed more results for a site when I put in the www. Are you suppose to add that part in if it has it? Like this:

    link: www.somedomain.com

link: warriorforum.com shows 678,000 results, but when you do like this:
link: www.warriorforum.com it shows 1,290,000 results.

    Hi,

Traffic Travis free version may still provide you good data on backlinks as compared to other free tools out there, even if you are limited to a certain number of backlinks only.

Remember that the backlinks count may differ from each tool you use. I have tested this myself. There is no perfect tool to show all the backlinks history for a site.

Try backlinkwatch as an alternative. It can provide you with a list as well. I also recommend you try Alexa backlinks finder. However I think you need to create an account here first to view all the backlinks for the site.

    Good luck!

I don't think that you could find and free programme that will help you in listing all the sites back link yes there are some tools that will allow you to get around 3-4k links but you will not find any free...... that is going to give you all of them !!

I use Moonsearch from time to time.
It's free, but they could make the functionality better. Anyway, they show really LOTS of backlinks.
As an experiment I've just tried checking twitter.com links, the thing has shown a mln referring domains and 20 mln backlinks.
