Since eBay is an authority site, would it be better to post an article and product on eBay or create a blogger account and publish it there? What platform do you think an article would rank better on, eBay or Blogger?

Probably it would rank better on eBay but they do not allow outside html links in their guides so it would really only help if you were promoting an eBay store.

Yea, I would be selling an actual item. No need for an outside link. Just wondering if the item would be better sold on eBay or from blogger. Just seems eBay ranks well for everything.

I don't do articles but that's actually an interesting idea using ebay's authority. If those are your only two options go with ebay (instant authority). Blogger is a sub-domain so you would be starting with no authority.

I'm sure If you had multiple ebay listings you could build internal ebay links to connect a bunch of your own relevant internal sales pages & dominate lower comp keywords in Google SERPs with multiple ranked ebay pages (per keyword). I guess you would have to list multiple quantities to keep the sales page live.

I might have to try that later.

Why not both? Just point the traffic from your blog to your ebay listing if you don't want to manage 2 different ways of selling the same product.

I've got some Blogspot blogs that shot to the top pretty quickly for a number of different terms. Google seems to love Blogspot for obvious reasons.
