Beginner SEO Keywords questions please?

Alright guys, I have taken the advice of some guys here on this forum who suggested I post my SEO questions here so any help at all will be greatly appreciated!

This is my new site here which is not 100% complete, I have to do some styling and add videos and images to each page: PCandNetServices PC Laptop Computer Repair, Mac Repair, Music Services
but the tutor I had hired and myself have done all of the SEO work on the site. One thing to note, I am located in Queens, NY which is saturated with computer shops and techs so the competition here is very high for computer repair services which should make even more difficult for me to rank on first page on google.

First question please, since I can view the source code of the tops sites for the same computer repair services, would it make snese for me to simply copy and use their keywords or should I use theirs plus some of my own?

the source code would not be helpful, all guys do same on page seo, so you should look on how many backlinks, PR and authority page they have to see if you can rank in this keyword.

Remove all the unnecessary <h2> tags.

Move the single <h1> tag to the top of the page & only use it for a keyword.

Change the home page <title> to your main keyword + brand name.

    Current home page <title>:
    • <title> PCandNetServices PC Laptop Computer Repair, Mac Repair, Music Services</title>

    Example new home page <title>:
    • <title>Computer Repair Services - pcandnetservices.com</title>

Target one main keyword per page, it's just easier that way.

Keeping in mind that this is a wordpress [WP] site, to do the above do you mean make this change in the page file header or in the WP Seo section as in the attached image or make the change in BOTH?

The image doe snot show clear enough here so please check this link?

<title> tags are site wide. Make the change in the WP SEO section you're showing in your screenshot.

Since your site is still under development, make sure you silo it. You can do this in WP easily enough using categories and managing your internal linking structure. There's lots of stuff here about that.

Source code of your competitor's makes for interesting reading, but that's about it.

Just ot be sure I understand this before making the changes, you are saying I should do what you've suggested ONLY for each page's "title" so this does not apply to the

Do not just copy use the competitors keywords try to research on keywords and try to find the best keywords that help you more. Focus on local marketing like Google Local Listing and NY best local listing sites, it help you to generate few leads for you.
