Hi Warriors,

I am putting together a free report about SEO and wanted to ask you all a favour - UK spelling as I am English

I run an SEO and Reputation Agency in the UK and have many clients here and internationally.

I am now going to start my own SEO step by step training and the first stage would be a free report.

I want the report to be as comprehensive and helpful as possible so need to know what you would like answering with regards to SEO especially since all of the recent Google updates.

Could you post what you would like answering and in return I will send you a copy of the report when I complete it?

Don't worry if your question seems silly or basic as I want to be able to help complete newbies as well...we all have to start somewhere.

Thanks in advance Warriors.

Hi there pearlydean, i've got a seo related question for a guru like you!

Through the adwords keyword tool you can look up the estimated search volume of a keyword.

You can choose Country + Language. Although lets take the Netherlands for example

You'll get google.com (automatically demographic in dutch) And you have google.nl Both have different rankings.

From which engine are the searchvolume statistics at google Adwords?

      Hi watkip,

I am not an Adwords expert and don't always agree with what Google provide as search volumes anyway. For example with local search terms you often see no volume but I have local clients who get visits from long-tail terms regularly. In fact a local roofer has had a £5k job from a long-tail term that gets no search volume according to Google.

I always use their estimates as a guide to be honest.

I do have some Adwords contacts though so will ask the question and post it in the report.

Great question to get us started off!

Hi there pearlydean, here is my seo related question! Without paying any money, what is the best way to get a new site, indexed in search engines.

Getting indexed is easy - just let Google know that your site exists. I think you may have meant to ask something like this:
Without paying too much what are some good ways to get a new site rank in search engines?

And yeah, there's no definitive answer, but you could give your general approach starting from keyword and competitor research.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

          What's your excuse?

    Hi BrianMc,

The easiest way to index your site is to go to Google Webmaster tools and add your site there. Here is a link for that - https://support.google.com/webmaster.../1352276?hl=en

I will add lots of other free or inexpensive tools to the report so you have several options.

    Thanks Nettiapina for your reply

hello! what a great oppertunity. so what I would like to find out , since I am trying to rank my first site, how long will it take for my first results? I mean I do understand I am able to build any traffic, and that is what i should be doing, together with backlinks. Now I would like to know when this backlinks usually kick in and will give me some kind of first example. Since I am running an article website, and my primar product is content, I would like to take a lot of advantage from google visitors with long tail and low competition keywords. However, if I do all this correctly, i asume that it will still take about 3 months for the backlinks to show on a backlink site.. but when more or less i could see any beginning results from my organic traffic?? and what is the best way to find out??? Thank you in advance!
