Passing Signature Links through a No Follow

Have you ever thought about passing signature links through a "no follow" url? I know that Google has been targeting some types of links and possibly including signatures. Maybe you want people to know about what you do, but you don't want to worry about Google penalizing you?

    I thought Matt Cutts recently said that no follow links won't hurt you...If they don't hurt, why would you take them out of your signature?
