PR = N/A - Will PR ever recover?

Hey guys. I recently purchased a domain with a PR of NA. The site is not indexed when doing the "Site:site.com" and "info:site.com" search. However, the backlink profile is pretty clean.

Any idea why this is the case? Will the PR come back/indexed after the site goes live and has content?

Please, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

The backlink profile is clean according to who? Moz? Ahrefs?

First, the pr will always be n/a as long as it is not indexed.

Second, ahrefs, nor any of the other backlink services, does not give up to date info. Those links may no longer exist.

Use something like SEO SpyGlass and import the links from Ahrefs. Then find out if they really exist.

So you're suggesting that Spyglass picks up links that other checkers don't, or it just verifies whether they still exist?

Anything better than Spyglass you recommend? It tends to run pretty slow.

            Both.

All the checkers find links that the others don't. You can download the links from Ahrefs and Majestic and import them into SpyGlass.

  • Until you publish your site you could not be completely sure of your back link profile. I suggest to launch the site immediately to eliminate all confusion.

And search around a bit. There are dome tweaks you can make to SpyGlass to speed it up
