Where did my Youtube videos go?

Hi Folks
I'm not particularly bothered about this but just interested in the answer.

Early last year I uploaded some videos to Youtube and as many of us found they ranked very well on the alimighty Google - master of the universe!

The other day I noticed that they'd gone. I don't just mean dropped down the rankings, I mean gone.

They're musical instruction videos, original, done by me so nothing pinched or crappy, so I can't see that they'd contravene any rules or anything. They were also quite popular and had likes, comments etc...

Any ideas why they were hit?

Thanks
Shayman

Odds are competition has stronger links.

Click the Video tab at the top of Google SERPs, is your video there?

If your videos are showing on the first page of the Video tab in Google SERPs then they're most likely borderline as far as showing in regular Google SERPs.

Build some decent links pointing at the video page URL.
