Hi,

Can you see any issue with adding affiliate links to websites in my PBN? Wouldn't they make it all look more legit?

Cheers,
Seamy

It can also create a footprint. Your affiliate ID number would be listed and can be tied into any other sites you have affiliate links on.

Money Site Affi Link = A
PBN Sites Affi Link = A

    = NO

Money Site Affi Link = A
    PBN Sites Affi Link = B C D E F G H I J K L

    = YES

In other words, don't use the same affiliate accounts on any of your sites. Different affi links, products, offers will be fine as there's no connection between them.

I threw out the method last week, that if your money site was selling "your own" product. It would be fairly easy to set up multiple affiliate accounts on your main site. And use those affiliate links to link back. Basically you being your own affiliate multiple times.

As Kevin said, don't leave any footprints, and you should be fine.

Cloak your affiliate links, use 302 redirects and disallow the directory you use to redirect your affiliate links.

'More legit' is a matter of opinion. How many of the billions of sites out there have affiliate links on them?

I'd be more inclined to put some form of CPM advertising on your sites to be honest as this is far more common I'd imagine (unless someone can prove otherwise).

Again though, just make sure that you are not leaving any footprints.

Personally I could care less about hiding my sites from Google.

For CB affiliate links what I do is create a single sales page on one domain, that sales page has an aff. link pointing at the CB SSL checkout page. My other domains have regular links pointing at my custom made CB sales page. That's how I drive traffic to my sales page across my entire PBN.

All my sites are regular sites that each have ranked pages, real content & links built by traffic (links built by me as needed).

What would be the point of doing that? Seems rather unnecessary. Build it to rank your sites not to put in affiliate links.

I build my sites to rank themselves. They just happen to pass authority to my main site as well.

The point of doing it that way?
      • To dominate SERPs with multiple sites and pages to make more money.
      • To make each site become a working earning entity of it's own, without my entire financial dependence left to one site.
      • To pay for themselves making it very easy to perpetually expand my online presence with minimal re-investment.

      There's loads of good reasons.
