Will Brute Force SEO and SENUKE Get SLapped?

I just read a really interesting article about automating social bookmarking to game links and search engines results.

Funny, I have been testing SENUKE and have had some great results...but just in google...None in Yahoo and MSN?

Humm...

So, how effective will these tools be? Can they be used effectively to help or will it all be just a short lived fad?

I am very curious as to what you think.

Pete's Badass softwares have been very popular and now he is about to come out with Brute force Seo...

I am sure it will be very hot and he may make the first million with a WSO, but where does that leave Google.

Do you not think they will also buy a copy and figure out what is going on?

Most people will not use it in a calm or tame way, they will try to "MAKE MONEY" as quickly as possible, but most likely it will go as fast as it came.

What do you think?

I think that the people that use these programs responsibly will still see the benefits.

It's the ones that use them like morons that will get slapped into oblivion.

Well, I think the majority will use them irresponsibly..

That is what I have been thinking about alot with senuke and how best to use it. I have spent over 3 weeks gently playing with it to see what it does and what the results are.

It is going to be interesting to watch that is for sure.

If you use products like this to just automate what you would do by hand, I don't think you will have an issue.

However, if you set them up to "spam the hell" out of social sites and rss feeds relentlessly sooner or later it is going to catch up to you.

      Jeremy,
I agree completely with you. One thing I would also add is that if Pete allows some freedom for the customer to make minor modifications it could help set themselves apart from the mass. (Note - I'm typing this without knowing anything about the program)

For example - I remember when I first started using Niche Portal Builder. I spent hours making my own template and adding lots of additional features which resulted in my sites getting indexed quicker and higher in the search engines but more importantly maintaining their position longer then the standard site built by other Niche Portal Builder owners.

        Heya Tim

        good to see you buddy

just a heads up mate.. my software is not a site creator like satyas.

My software promotes any site you create, across web 2 authority sites

With each project you run, creating a new mini network of sites on authority web 2 sites that you own forever.. (of course linking them together, using your longtails etc.. so these rank well in and of themselves in the serps) The potential of these mini network of web 2 authority sites will be seen down the track aswell.. as you own them forever. e.g you can come back and place links on them any time in the future..

Check out the list of sites here Brute Force SEO

Don't know about SENuke, but been using BADASS for a while with some very interesting results.

This seems to be a topic that get's a lot of attention, so let me ask the question in a different direction.

Hand build sites and fill them with crappy, spam content. Result ? Spam sites

Automate process and offer your visitors good quality content. Result = Quality sites

Sometimes it's not the tool that's to blame. I've been using automated site builders for a while now and have never had any sites banned.

For me it's not the process - Does Google really care if you automate blog building for example. It's the content on the blog, not the method you use.

          Just my 2 cents.

    Heya Sam

    very good question mate..

I cannot speak for senuke as obviously I never ordered a copy. though I do not that they use a lot of my badass ass methods

    Heres the thing..

With my software, its ultimately flexible.

you can do one huge project automatically.. or just choose one of the modules.

This is the main point to focus on. My software creates sites on Web 2 sites..

How many of them are there? How many web 2 authority sites are there?

So we'll always be able to keep in front.

Im sure some google employees will note what we are doing.

Though by the time that this info is passed to the people that need to be contacted, then they have meetings to make adjustments to their algo..

I think that might take a LOT of time..

If indeed that this did happen. we'd just change the web 2 sites.. and structure..

Ive designed this for the long haul.

Ive limited my membership to just 1000 to address this above situation.. understanding that only 10 to 15% of people will actually use the software a lot.

We are like a Bee, irritating an Elephant, while we are annoying its its ear, by the time it moves to swipe at us, weve already buzzed around and stung it on the ass LOL

If Google Does make a change to fight us, this will take them Months... and our response only takes days.. then it will take them months again.. They know this... At the end of the day, we are tiny and google will not pay much attention at all if any.

    Cheers

It's nice to hear you are in it for the long Haul Pete, I think figuring out how to use this all effectively and stay above board is the key.

Web 2.0 is about sharing content across the web, yet getting up on the web is the major chore. So for us marketers there has to be a way to do this without taking 5 bazillion hours a day.

How much automation is good automation.

Great content is always going to be important here.

The other big aspects is that these sites on the web 2.0 properties are going to require that you still fill out your profiles completely and it is also going to require that the bookmarking is done by others...NOT BY YOU!

Pete, I know you have worked hard at providing valuable resources for people...Using them effectively and responsibly is yet to be determined.

I am holding a private webinar about these exact concerns tonight!

Not sure I understand which requirement you are speaking of..

In fact that quote above makes no sense to me at all, in relation to gaining backlinks to your sites from web 2 sites.

    Update

See my list of Brute Force SEO Features here..

Tell me how hard it would be to update an algo to account for all this strategy used, and decipher it from other people doing the same manually?

Even if this was to happen,

it wouldn't be very difficult to change that list of 93 social sites up, with some others

So yes we are in it for the long haul.

Automated software is always danger mate. One of my friend used automatic directory submission and his SERP down from second page to ninth page. So google will penalise you if they will come to know about this.

Look at it this way. If I took a spreadsheet and listed all your incoming and outgoing links, what would I find? If all I find is crap that was done automatically, you can bet google will find it too.

      excellent theory,

though, how do you determine crap? and why would there be crap? since one of the sites we use to promote is ezinearticles, so most likely the content is of this quality.

Also.. how would you indeed determine that the information was supplied automatically?

My software does exactly what you can do by hand.. though just 360 times faster..

So true.. and BF not only saves time by doing everything it does in an automatic and quick way, the linking it does between all your sites (and rss let's not forget rss.. and use of keyword tags... etc) is the true magic imo.... So it is much more than just a tool to save time, although that is one of the desirable features.

Those using BF or any other tool who just promote crap content will be the ones who get "google slapped", not the software. The software is innocent!

if you look at BF SEO; Pete never suggests that you use "crap" content anywhere.

some people are just trying to use the software to be lazy, instead of using it to be effective... that gets the software a bad name...
