    Every evaluation/review site will be an affiliate site, because they know people who are looking for a review are clorer to buy, so they may be biased but they can give you a good insigth as well.

      I can't remember that happening to me for quite some time. Almost all lists are purely for affiliate commission and nothing else, especially the ones that claim to be "reviews" or "top lists".

    I don't know much about any website at the moment, which is fair in comparing SEO providing top rated sites. But here are some points to compare in between SEO companies, so you may find better ones...

    Social Media

    Google Algorithm Updates

    Progress reports etc.

    I think the only successful way to find the 'best' SEOs is to:
    - Get referrals from people you trust (not random sites or people in forums)
    - Test the agencies with a small budget to see their responsiveness and costs
    - Test their knowledge of tactics and best practice based upon what you know. And don't go easy on them!

    It's all but impossible to compare two agencies given that each one would present a different approach and budget for a given task.
