Am I doing a good job with SEO?

Hi there,

I'm working on my page hxxp://juicervsblenderhq.com , writing contents, working on twitter, facebook and G+, and I'm working on offsite SEO too.

I'm a little worried about my offSEO backlinks work, because, I'm seeing my backlinks on ahrefs, but I'm not on opensiteexplorer. On opensiteexplorer, my site hasn't any backlink.

Does It mean I'm doing something wrong?

On Google SERP, now I'm on 25-30 position for the main keywords. I think is fine for the age of the page (less than 3 months).

Any advice?

Thank you so much.

Majestic and OSE are not Google, so what they find means nothing to you. I like that clean design on-site, looks nice.

Just a suggestion, you may want to tidy up your articles using "justify" in the text editor. Will make it look more professional and clean.

Don't worry about what backlinks are showing up in which tools at all.

As long as you're sure they're being crawled and indexed that's all that matters.

No worries, you are doing everything the right way.

The most likely reason why you can see your links with Ahrefs and can't find them with OpenSiteExplorer is that the latter hasn't indexed them yet.

Most of online backlink checkers have their own crawlers. They scan the whole Web and accumulate all found links in their backlink indexes. The process is rather time-consuming, and the full update circle may take from some weeks to several months.

Just keep building links, getting more social signals and producing high-quality sharable content. All that will help you progress in SERP.

I'm not sure I understand you. What do you mean with title and tags every thing?

      Thank you

"Am I doing a good job" is a relative question. It depends on the comparison of your work to your competition's work. If your competitor has 100 backlinks, then maybe you need 200.

With that said...a ranking of 25-30 with less than a week's worth of SEO work is relatively OK. But you have to find out what else your competitor is doing and to make sure you do more than that. Obviously...it goes without saying...some keyphrases will be require much more or much less work to rank on the first page.

    Good luck to you!

    Hi there,

6 days ago my site reached 11th position for the main keywords, but today, suddenly dropped down until 22th position again.

What's wrong? Is it normal? In these days I haven't done anything of SEO.

    Thank you

I just checked your site and was a little surprised to hear you reached page 2/3 for your main keywords.

However it turns out your main keyword is: juicer vs blender so it all makes sense.

First let me say that I used to target a keyword: ipad vs laptop and it converted real poor, Adsense brought in more, cause people are still in the deciding phase instead of buying phase.

People looking for: "best juicer" or "juicer reviews" are more in the final phase and then it's a matter of convincing them which is the best. However those are quite a bit more competitive.

Anyway, long story short, all your links are pure spam, maybe some of the spam managed to stay closer to a page with PR for a while and now it probably dropped, hence the drop in rankings. Could also be a dance of rankings though.

My keywords maybe aren't the best for conversion, we'll see

Backlinks have been built by a wf seo and somebody from fiverr as well. It's clear that I'll have to do this work.

Could you recommend a good guide for built good backlinks, not spam backlinks? And is recommendable clean existing backlinks, if they are spam? If so, how could I know which of they are good or bad backlinks?

        Thank you very much.

That's the exact reason nobody should be selling links to the public. Multiple link builders is a bad idea, especially when one of them involves fiverr.

I seriously doubt your links are any good based on the fiverr comment alone.

First thing I would do is load all your known backlinks into SEOspyglass & check the link quality, specifically the total number of OBLs (outbound links) on each backlink page (there's a column in SEOspyglass for that).

Fiverr gigs usually sell the same link sources to as many buyers as possible, which increases the OBLs on each backlink page for each individual fiverr gig being sold.

Anyways, check the link quality, are the links mostly spammy blog comments with 100s - 1,000s OBLs?

If are spammy links, the best is delete them? In those links is important the PR of the page?

                I appreciate your advices.

You doing the high rank off page submission is the best way for the SERP position and you do the B2b submission also increase the ranking position

    Hello,
anoopsparx said you should check google webmaster tool links but goole said they only show a selection of links not 100%

Q: I know I have [one / several / dozens of ] links that Webmaster Tools isn't showing. What gives?
    A:
Although the link reports in Webmaster Tools are more comprehensive than doing a [link:example.com] query in Google search, they may not include 100% of all links that you know about. This is normal and should not be cause for alarm. Webmaster Tools does not always show 100% of the links that Google knows about, so just because a particular link doesn't appear in Webmaster Tools doesn't mean that Google doesn't know about that link, or that your site isn't "getting credit" for that link.

PS : you can use instantlinkindexer to index your backlinks fast.

poerbucker, did you create a link pyramid above your website with seonuke?

Instead of checking certain SERPS, you should anlyze if your whole organic traffic is growing or not.
