Why is Google SiteMap Reporting Old Pages?

Hi Warriors,
We just changed our URL strings and then generated a google sitemap to update google. We use the free version of Create your Google Sitemap Online - XML Sitemaps Generator to generate our Google sitemap. The problem we have is that it is reporting the old urls and not the new ones in the sitemap?

Could anyone please help me here. Thanks a million!!

Do you think it is because you have internal links on your site pointing to pages that no longer exist maybe?
