Since I'm talking about a PPC model, this seems like the proper forum. Hopefully a well intentioned mod won't move it.

To the point, I'm not interested in the MMO/IM niche but does anyone have any solo ad vendors they like to use for health and financial niches?

I don't expect an overwhelming response for obvious reasons and am open to PM replies. None the less, just thought I'd toss this thread up and see what happened.

Yeah, I know... It's one of those times that I just decided to throw "it" at the wall and see what happened.

Who knows, maybe someone will feel like being super nice - which is the only thing I could hope for. It's a bit like asking for someone's domain broker.

.... Just as long as it stays in the PPC / SEO forum and not 'that other section.'

        Which is that 'other' section?

I'm very active in the financial niche, but have never tried the Solo Ads route. I hope you find someone to help, but I would imagine people are going to be really tight lipped in those arenas.

The "Main" Discussion forum. I'm really not a fan of that section of the forum. When I get bored and take a peak there, or more appropriately when I check in on a thread that got moved there... I end up wanting to shoot kittens in the skull.

I really do not enjoy or agree with a lot of the conversation that goes on there but don't want to fight with people either.... so kittens must die as a result.

I'm in one area of the financial niche where there are very few super heavy hitters in thankfully. I've got about 8 major competitors and everyone else are still writing articles for Ezine or just generally suck at what they are doing.

PPC solo ads only exist for special users of adwords and are google partners.
I see some big name sites that put a google ad up and you can choose to skip
it. Just trying going to somewhere like forbes.com and you will see what I
mean. I do not know the rules for forbes.com, but it's probably special and
pricey as I alluded to above.

I don't know if it's open to the auction. Forbes.com probbaly has a link to
      advertise.

That is as close to PPC as I can get...once you get away from google,
I can't say any are actually reputable or even worth one penny.

Maybe you mean PPV. Clixsense seems to be the most reputable, but I have never
made much running an ad. I've made much more clicking

Unless you have something else in mind with a "solo ad."

We aren't close to the same page on what I mean by PPC.

Oh no, I'm all over PPV with Leadimpact and a few others that I'm not prepared to talk about openly

List building with PPV has been 'MEH.' I do have luck with self-liquidating offers and PPV though.

If something costs $3 and it costs me $3.50 in advertising per sale - I still have the email address of a proven buyer for $.50 per lead. Not bad...

Then there is nothing to choose from for a solo PPC that would be
worth a dang except via google, a la forbes.

And if that aint close then it don't exist. They don't do solo PPC.

I thought that was where you meant. There are occasionally some worthwhile conversations in there, but they are so hard to find, that I don't bother looking anymore.

It's a lot of "How do I make $50 a day" and "I've tried internet marketing for 2 weeks now, and I'm not a millionaire. WTH? I give up."

It would probably surprise a lot of people just how many areas in the financial niche are like that.
