SEO for a squeeze page? Looking for MONSTER traffic!

I recently advertised, looking for traffic experts to help get a flood
of targeted prospects to my well-tuned squeeze page.

(Squeeze Page) is not formatted to attract any particular keyword, from what I understand.

Being a little 'traffic naive' I had assumed that I might be contacted by PPC exponents,
Facebook ad experts, social media marketers, people who understand media buys etc.
But the only people contacting me are SEO experts. Having a fairly simple squeeze page
ranking high in the searches may work, yet I'm still not sure of the method here.

I know that when I go googling for IM topics, I am looking for substantial articles, with
lots of useful information and valuable ideas. Squeeze pages that appear get overlooked
and bypassed etc.

What is your view? Should I go for an SEO plan or even just stick to quality solo ads,
my usual promotional route?

It depends on the competitiveness of your niche or the keywords that you are trying to rank for with your squeeze page.

Typical seo stuff Backlinks, content, keywords, etc..

P.S. You may want to optimize your squeeze page for some keywords that you could target, and start building high quality backlinks to your squeeze page for starters.

But to answer your question. I would do both and stick to buying solo ads and build up some content for your blog, website, squeeze page, etc.. and capture leads with a lightbox popup if your gonna use or start a blog they work the best in terms of lead generation.
