Bought A Previously Used Domain Is It Garbage?

I'm wondering if a domain I recently purchased is any good. I mean is it full of crap backlinks and maybe penalized?Where does the rank status sit? Anything you can tell me about it? Anybody that is good with this be willing to check the domain out? I am a noob. If you're an oldschool member here I would prefer it be one of you to check it out since you know what you're doing. By giving you the domain to lookup you will be introduced to a decent paying niche via adsense. You scratch my back I kinda scratch yours.

    Not a seasoned veteran, but I can check it with Majestic SEO. However, if it's your domain you can too, and it should be free.

    Use web tools like:
    Open Site Explorer
    https://ahrefs.com/
    to check the quality of the links!

    You can always ask google to not penalize you or google out how to delete certain links. Some may be possible (for example messaging a forum / directory / website admin to delete a link). Most important is that You act and just don't rely on blind luck on things settling down !
