Need Advice From Expert Warriors

Hi Warriors,

I need some help and advice.

Here's my situation:

I have a domain name that I once used as a site back in 2011 for about a year. I then scraped the site, but kept renewing the domain because it was a good name.

Anyway, yesterday I launched the site again on my Blue Host account and decided to post about 7 original articles I had written that had never been posted anywhere.

Well to my surprise, Google indexed each article instantly. Today, I posted two more original articles and they were again indexed immediately and I actually got a couple of search hits on one of the articles I posted yesterday.

My questions:

1. Is this a big deal that I can use to my advantage, or just no big deal.

2. The theme of the well-researched articles and of the site is unexplained phenomena and UFOs, but I could easily start writing about survival subjects or financial subjects based on possible economic collapse to get it on a subject that could be monetized. UFOs are tough to monetize, I read and heard, so that's why I am asking before I add any more original content on this site.

If you have any suggestions or thoughts, I'd really appreciate them.

Thanking you in advance.

    "unexplained phenomena and UFOs"

I guess it´s a low competition niche since it is hard to monetize, so I would guess it´s no big deal.

Your best bet might be adsense.

      Thanks Max. That makes sense.

I was also thinking clickbank books on big economic collapse or survival.

...or maybe you create your own CB product on the UFO niche, might be a niche in high demand of a product

I'm not sure what the question is (fast indexing?) but you can index/cache pages instantly all day long with Fetch as Google (WMT).

      Excuse my lack of knowledge.

In the past when I wrote articles on a site, it sometimes took several days for Google to index them. Sometimes they were never indexed.

With this older domain every article is being indexed instantly. Does that give me any advantage, or is this normal?

Does it mean I am more likely to get more search traffic from Google.

      Thanks for your help.

Not really. Indexing doesn't mean that your site is ranking for something that anyone would search for. That's where the traffic comes from.

Getting pages to rank may take anything from a few days to a few weeks, but there's no guarantee that the site ever ranks.

Thanks for taking the time to explain that to me.

No faster indexing does not give you an advantage.

Your content are indexed quickly simply because it is a very rare and targeted niche. And I also agree that fast indexing does not mean that you have an advantage in terms of traffic. Still, it all depends on where your content is found on SERPs.

However, I still think that you can take advantage of this situation because once you constantly update your site and your content are indexed fast, in time, your site can get a better PR and in the lone run, your site may possibly rank better in SERPs.

What does the topic have to do with it? Google would have to rank and rate the content before even looking into it. Doesn't seem very likely to me.

If you've set up your site properly and are using GWT your content gets indexed pretty fast. Seldom there's any benefit of being a bit faster in Google than the next site. Usually you're up agains content that's been published months and years earlier and later than your articles.

Makes sense. Thanks. I think I get it. No real advantage in the long run..

It is really a big deal to you. No doubt about it. Just Write down few more articles and your site will get high on google SERP.

If you have new sites, then put a backlink from this old website. Your new site will also get indexed fastly.
