If I find a keyword that doesn't have a niche site connected to it, but has large sites like amazon, walmart, etc should I skip over the keyword? Or would it be worth it to make a niche site for that as they don't have same name keyword site names?

Are you asking us whether it would be possible to outrank the amazon.com pages with your own niche site?

First of all that begins in the SEO, and Adsense section, but it is very easy to outrank those amazon product pages yes.

Is it really easy to do so? Ive read on spencer haws website that says he always avoids niches that contain all authority ecommerce sites in the top 10.

Because google tends to rank authority sites (amazon, ebay) higher
