    FB ads are definitely profitable, because like mentioned before you can target your specific audience. In that case, you don't need to pay for ads shown for people who are not interested in buying your product.

    Lost money every time on adwords and facebook.

    Made money selling products on ecommerce site using google marketplace ads, not individual ad words.

    Facebook works for me better compared to adwords! I also find it easier to target my audience using their interests on Facebook compared to keywords on Adwords...

    Facebook does earn me money, but not directly. I send potential customers to a squeeze page where I get their email for a free ebook. Once they are on my list I send them affiliate offers. My Facebook ads convert fairly well at almost 10% opt in rate at the moment.
