Adding Forum/Q&A To Website - Increase In Traffic/Rankings?

Hi,

I was just wondering for people who added their own forum/Q&A section to their website, have you experienced an increase in traffic/rankings because of this?

I'm thinking of adding a forum/Q&A section to my website, and I feel that this would have a positive effect on traffic/rankings if the posts have content that other visitors would be interested in reading about too.

    Q&A works. It will generate a lots of content if you do right.

    I have tried forums before, be prepared to combat non stop spam. Be sure to get something that can be properly modified to beat most of the spam bots and spammers. They can make a lot of extra work for you and are relentless.
