Hi,

I recently had a theme made for me and since then my meta description does not show on Google search, instead it pulls the titles of my articles instead. Can anyone give me some guidance on how I can fix this? I have been using Yoast SEO for a few months now.

I did a search on Meta Tag Analyzer

and got the following.

Found no description meta tag.
The description meta tag is used by most of the search engines. Consider to add a description meta tag.

Can anyone help with this?

Have you added the <meta description code> in your header?

I am not sure if it's there, will need to check. The new theme that was made for myself, was built on bones, I think that's what it is. I personally thought Yoast SEO could add the meta description?
