My adSense: 98 cents this month, it is a record!

I am approaching the one buck/month goal. Now I am steadily making 90/95 cents/mo with my blog. About 100 visitors and about 2/3 clicks. Please don't lough at me.
Now, I would like to ask you how you would put on a scale from most important to least the following for increased organic traffic:

- on page SEO
- Content
- backlinks
- Website size (amount of pages/content).
- deep keyword research

I can't seem to increase my visitors, although I am adding content, but I have zero backlinks.

Thank you respected warriors.

That means with only 30 clicks per month you would be looking at
      $3,000 per month.
Keyword that are worth more than $100 per click??? You have to be kidding me...

If your getting 100 visitors a month than chances are the majority of those visitors are you considering you probably check your website a few times per day.

  • Hard to give any real advice without seeing your site, but you need to build up your traffic.

Your CTR isn't too great either. 2-3 clicks from 100 visits is only 2-3% CTR. Try to get that up to 7-8% at least.

I'm guessing you need to add more content. Try posting 1 time per day (HIGH QUALITY content) for the next 30 days and see what happens. I bet you'll be happy with the results.

Also, I'd recommend setting a higher goal. Shoot for $1 per day?

I'm just starting to push myself on adsense right now and my goal is $3.50 per day average. This would put me over $100 per month, which is the payout minimum. It would be nice to get a payment from Google each month (in addition to my other income streams).

Of course, long term my goal is to make much more than that, but this is a good initial goal.

If you publish some current and hot news - you can get traffic even without backlinks. You can do that even if you don't publish your own original content. Just search for the curation methods and tools.

One of the things I hate about adsense is that it encourages people to click OFF of your site for only a few pennies of profit.

Why not take that adsense space and instead either dedicate it to a quality niche affiliate program or your own products/squeeze pages?

You're only building Google's profits and getting mighty little in return.

Now, if you're clearing 10K/month in Adsense (I did that when I broke the google code back in 2004) I can understand it, but for only a few dollars?

    Blaze your own authority.

    hope that helps!

    What's your excuse?
