With an Eye on Google Going After Low Quality Guest Blogging

Not sure if they'll figure out a way but it does make my brain spin again to come up with different solutions.

Right now my link building is mostly focused on blog posts, where half of them roll off and the other half remains permanent on the homepage to keep the juice flowing and so that we can limit the amount of links, as the fewer links you can rank with the better it is.

But how about this:

- Analyze client back link profile
- Check ranking positions for client links for relevant keywords obvious
- Build blog posts to the existing links that rank in the top 100
- Or in case there is a lack then rank those links/pages in the top 100

I suppose this would be less effective then pointing the blog posts directly at someone's site, despite Google's patent that the more top 100 pages (that rank for the same or similar keywords) link to you the more beneficial it is, as it simply increases relevance.

And it's obvious safer to keep the network under the radar, so win win.

But how much you think I'm gonna lose in effectiveness due to the tiered approach, as the link juice willl obvious be dilluted a ton by other links on the pages that link to the money/client site.

You think this is a solid strategy and worth to pursuit, or would it really lose a ton in effectiveness?
