Apart from a PBN what other links do you suggest ?

E-mail link outreach. Negotiate, build friendship with the blogger/site owner.

Social Media comes to play. Let's say you have a fb fan page with 93985 likes. Maybe out of those likes 20 percent has a blog. Maybe out of those bloggers 3 percent naturally links to your site.

Ding ding ding. Link.

I'm a big fan of Web 2.0 for all my non-critical anchor texts: Brand, URL, topic, misc.

There's some great packages available that sell premade web 2.0s with juiced up backlink profiles, high PR, and dofollow. They've been doing a great job for me.

Other than that, I just send social signals (bookmarks and shares), although these aren't considered backlinks. I never touch article directories, forum posts, PDFs, wikis, etc.

Web 2.0, social, and a few high PR links. Mostly brand or URL links.

for web 2.0s do you spin content or 100% original content for each web 2.0 ?

I spin, but I use the highest quality spun articles (theleadingarticles.com). Some people argue that you should use only hand written, unique content on T1, but I've never seen a problem with The Leading Articles.

Also, I'm not sure if anyone clearly answered one of your hidden questions. But you don't really need to have any other link type. You can have 100% PBN links and still rank, although this would be expensive. I'm not saying this because of speculation. I currently have sites that rank just from PBNs.

However, you'll always need social signals (bookmarks and shares) to justify the backlinks from PBNs, Web 2.0s, etc.

I agree you can only rank from pbn's but I recently got penalised on a few of my sites and I am nervous that they found them because of my pbn so I am trying to be more careful on my new pbn and add other links as well.

I create as many Web 2.0s as I need for my non-critical anchor text (Brand, URL, Misc).

Use social media links for diversity then use PBN to nail keywords.

For ranking anything other than high PR/DA links does f all.

Anybody telling you any different does not know SEO or is trying to rip you off.

The PBN are the most effective form of BL and safe when done by a professional.

Hire a prof to help you with it....

I wouldn't go for anything less at this period.

Go for Web 2.0's (maybe press releases), some bookmarks and use branded anchor mixed with URL and than hit exact match anchors with PBN links.

I use LinkResearchTools.com to analyze my competitors to understand what's ranking in that niche currently. Then I blend in by doing more-or-less the same, but I optimize my efforts better than they do so I outrank them.

Diggity what kind of social signals? Facebook likes and G+ have been difficult for me to create on my own. Pins..tweets..bookmarks and other social sharing platforms are easy though

Honestly, all I do is create Facebook, G+, YT and Twitter accounts for my money page and then link them back to my site. Whenever I release new content, then I post on these accounts.

Then I use tools to submit to various computer generated accounts on Twitter and Social Bookmark sites.

This has been enough in my experience.
