Quick Question About Backlinking.

Hello warriors. I just wanted your opinion on something. Does your article view on ezine articles affect your google ranking for that article. I put up an article months ago and it was on the front page for one day then disappeared off the map, then I linked to it from warrior forum and waited a little while longer. I then put the article on my own website about a few weeks later. That is the only backlinking I did and I did not even know how to do it at the time. I know how to do keyword research and had about 29.000 competing pages in quotes with about 500 searches a month. The top site for the search has about one hundred links for 52,000,000 searches I am currently in the third spot after about two months of my article being their and I am seeing a huge surge in traffic. Can anyone help me with why google has me in this spot when before I was not even in the top 10 pages nowhere to be found. Thank you.

I also forgot to mention I did not spin this content either. It was an exact duplicate that I placed on my blog about two months later after it was submitted to and approved by eza.

  Hello,
  
  The initial ranking that you got on the first page happens often with EZA. Many times with low/moderate competition type keywords your article will rank high on the first page after it is spidered on the front page of EZA because of the trust that Google has with EZA.
  
  I don't think you can really get a good explaniation of exactly what happened with your EZA article in this case. Many times, I don't have to build any links at all and after a week or so, my article will be high on the first page of Google. The power or trust that EZA has with Google is the only way that I can really rationalize it
  
  I'm sure that linking to it from this forum didn't hurt much either

Hey jeremy. I was just reading a past post of yours where you give an example of the same thing.Only with yours you said it had been six months. I did ping my blog post after I submitted the article I wrote to it. I actually got the idea from you believe it or not when I told you about my niche months ago.

I repurpose my EZA content all of the time. Not only that, but a lot of the auto-blogs that we have that build backlinks for us rank very well and they are full of dupe content

I never understood the concept of autoblogging. How do you do this?

You basically set up a blog with a plugin like wp-o-matic or something similar and it will automatically drip feed content to a blog. It goes out and gets content from places you specify and automatically posts it for you...

  It really depends on how you do it and what the blog is for...
  
  Some autoblogs are just to fill up with content for adsense or whatever. Sometimes I'll link back to articles, sometimes to money pages, it just depends on where I need to spread the love

  It is amazing how much I have learned from this forum. When I first came here I had no idea. I was an offline direct marketing guy. Had resources all over the place, but the game became to costly and you could only survive if you had a large bankroll to work with. Now I know so much and am learning more everyday. Right now I am thinking about signing up to paul and angelas backlinking service to begin to build links to my blog.

Yeah I hear all the time that you should build links to your articles, but in doing that I am not building links to my own site. So now I am going to work on that. I've been finding some good places where I can outsource this tedious process.
