And could you guys tell me how many traffic could be need...

Any one konw how to get traffic for shopping site?

    Of course it is. Why don't you go and google some CTR and CPC numbers, and make a quick calculation? It's not going to be exact, but you get some an estimate.

    For example:
    1% CTR * $0.10 CPC * 500k visitors = $500.

    CPC might be on the low side, but it depends on the ads you'd get. CTR depends heavily on your ad placement and other factors.

    However, running ads on an ecommerce site might affect the conversion on the product sales. It doesn't look good if the shop is running outside ads. I'd concentrate on one or the other, in this case probably the shop.

    It is possible by logic but it will be so difficult in practical because if you want to make 500$ per week then you need more than 1000K unique visitor and your blog/website should be contain high quality content.

    A lot of sites make $500 a week from Adsense. If the RPM is $5, all you need is 100k page views a week.

      Agreed...I got a feeling never more...than just 500 buck per week...
      one local site on computers , here in my country...is quite popular ...

      actually the driving force why the site got many visitors..is "forum" inside...
      from pc related stuffs..to chit chat..., market place for members to sell their products....

      daily visitors just one day is a lot...just image after one month ..

    One of my websites pages had a CTR of 20% but another page on that website had a 0.1% CTR, so its impossible to tell you.

    Now of course its possible to make 10 X $500 a week, but its down to you to make it happen.

    Adsense is good, and even if you can't make a living off it for whatever reason, at least have an Income Stream that relies on Adsense, because in my opinion its one of the most stable monetization platforms.

    I've made similar numbers loooong time ago. Then i've discovered that it was a waste of time (or opportunities) as you can earn LOT more with other affiliate programs.

    Never used it again since then.

    $500 per week? Not bragging, but since you asked I have made $400+ every single day from 6 different adsense sites driving traffic from Linkedin alone. I won't disclose the niche, but total visitors = 5-6k per day.
