What happened to my site?

Guys, please help me to find out what's wrong with my site.

Here are the details:
1. I've bought the domain in August 2013. Completely new domain, not from auctions
2. The website has been created in October 2013. About 20 pages of unique content.
3. Till January 2014 I've been adding new content, about 1-3 pages per week.
4. In February I've started adding more content (5-20 new pages per week), made on-page SEO (unique titles, descriptions, image alt tags, page heading H1-H5, etc.). Also I've started to build some link (from blogs and forums closely related to my niche).
5. After that the rankings and traffic started to grow.
6. And then at the end of March I see this horrible picture (see image 1). All rankings and traffic fallen almost to zero.

Google Webmaster Tools didn't give me any warnings or messages.
Please help to find out what happened and how to get rid of this.

This picture kills me:

Here is how backlinks grew.

Here is the anchor texts distribution

Thanks in advance!

You have not shown us your traffic stats mate. In image one, that blue line is how many times your website was seen in the Search Engine Results Page (SERP) Like an impression.

The red line is how many times someone clicked on your website after seeing your page in the SERPS. That line is too small for use to see if it has changed.

My guess is that even if you have lost your traffic and rankings, they will recover. I think you should read into the Google Dance to calm your nerves. A common trigger of the Google Dance is in fact link building. Cant see exact dates but I think the times of linkbuilding and your drop do correlate within a month so that is what led me to this decision.

Something similar happened to me with a site which i circled in red. After i started building links, i lost ranking (and traffic) for a short period of time.

You can see my traffic naturally goes up and down a lot. That's because I get hardly any traffic on the weekends because trading is closed. But during the circled period i had loss of traffic even during weekdays.

      Thank you Luke,
I hope you're right and this is short-term problem.
As for traffic, here is the picture so you can see that traffic went down either.

How long does it take you to recover? From your picture I guess a week or two, right?

yep about a week, could be more could be less i expect each case is different. Remember to come back and tell us how it goes.

If not the Google Dance we can look further but no point now i think.

Yes, sure, I will report the changes.
For now I stopped link-building but continue to add high quality content to the site (1-2 pages per week)

    Less Possibility:
Make it sure, your whole content is still unique, its possible some one is copying your content and posting on other websites

    Major possibility:
If you have done guest posting for building links, most probably your site de-ranked because of google recent crack down on guest blogging sites.

If both are not related with you, plz let me know url, i'll sort out in detail.

I know that this may happen with new sites but mine is 8 months old, not so new I guess.

8 months isn't old. Some sites can go through the Google dance for months on and off. If you keep adding content you will see the benefit by the end. Trust me buddy, in less you have been spamming links.

That first WMT image in OP could be something as simple as Google Images showing traffic impressions. Make sure to use the filter on the WMT chart to only show web traffic (or whatever it's called (can't remember right now)). Like already said, that blue line is impressions, the red line is clicks.

This image 1 shows the impressions with turned on the filer "Web".
When I turn on the filter "All" (includes images, mobile and videos) it shows me much higher numbers but the picture is the same.

Is your traffic mainly from SE's? Only Google? It seems you lost your rankings, are you sure you didn't do anything wrong while building backlinks? Did you check your backlinks? Something suspicious?

As you can see, I have only 20 backlinks, all from exact or closely related forums and blog. The anchor profile is not spammy. So I don't think this is about backlinks.

The only thing that worries me is that I've got over 40 Google +1s (from my friends) during last week before drop. But I don't believe this could hurt so much.

I think this is really so-called "google dance". I have to keep claim and wait for a few weeks.

I get these fluctuations as well. Don't worry about it too much unless it still persists for 2wks+.

Looking at your chart it only seems like the duration is about 2-4 days. And since the post is just about a day old i would ride it out and see what happens. In the mean time maybe just be more active on social networks to see if the social signals will push you back up.

Some basics to check on. Duplicate content? Remove URLs. Any obvious keyword rich sitewide links? What about linking out? Haven't experienced this myself but reading linking out to bad neighborhoods can hurt you now.

Just some thoughts. Obvious thing to do is ride it out but I know the anxiety that you may be experiencing so mind as well check up on some basics.
