5 Simple Tips To Generate More Revenue From Adsense

You might have heard all of this already, but actually it is so simple to forget it when creating a new Adsense blog...

1. Use Ad sizes with the highest CTR: 336x280, 300x250, 729x90, 160x600

2. Blend it, blend it, blend it: so vital! If your text and titles are black, make ads black too!!

3. Place ads in the main content: I don't know why I still see blogs with ads on the front page but no ads in the main content or blog posts. I earn the most from individual posts or pages not from the home page...

4. Use only text ads. Yes, Google offers both. Google even promotes both. Google might pay you someday to use image-ads...but still, text ads are waaay more effective!

5. Use high paying keywords: I use Long Tail Pro to search the best keywords for my posts: they have low competition and high cpc. Use it, it is worth every cent!

    Blending is a bad idea. Your ads disappear, or worse, you invite invalid clicks.

    High paying keywords? Your site is in an auction. Nobody paying a high
    price for any keyword is going to target your site without a reason. Many
    people think if they just create a site on mesothelioma, then they can sit
    back and watch the money roll in. Big myth and probably the number 1
    reason people get upset at google for not paying them enough. I don't
    know how "low competition" can equal high paying.

      Blending: My experience after much of testing.

      High paying keywords: I agree, there is a myth, but still some niche (and some keywords) are more expensive than the others. My experience.

      Low competition: it is not directly corelated, of course, but in order to increase your income, choosing low competitive keywords is important - basic stuff.
