Wordpress not indexing pages

This is possibly the strangest problem I've ever had with Wordpress. My new website (liammcarthur.co.uk) has been live for around a week now and every single page is now ranking except for blog posts.

If you Google "site:liammcarthur.co.uk website live" you will see what I mean. The /tag/ page is even being indexed but the actual post itself isn't. Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Liam

There are two blogposts on your blog. I think you have not enough content on both the blogposts. Try to add some more content....

Sometimes Google takes time to index all blog post. It is very common problem of many bloggers. You have only two blog posts as well as not very old. So, it will be good to add some more posts and submit rss feed in Google webmaster tool.

The problem I have found is that "liammcarthur.co.uk/tag/website-live/" is has been indexed however liammcarthur.co.uk/website-live/" hasn't.

I found a <link rel="alternative"> link in the header.php. I've removed this and I've noticed that "/website-live/" has now been indexed. I think this link tag was causing the issue - however I will monitor it to see if the other post is indexed also.
