Domaine Age of competitors ?

I'm trying to study some keywords competition to try get ranked using them but I'm confused About the factor of domaine age ?
does it important ?
For example I find that the sites ranked for the keyword X have a high domaine ages (12 years averages )+ the competition is 40/100 according to the SEO Moz tool !
does this mean that this keyword is very competetive or not ?
Can we get ranked high than Amazon or Cdiscount websites , Wikipedia ???

    Yes you can.

    Domain age is not a ranking factor. Older domains are more likely to have larger and more valuable backlink profiles. But correlation is not causation when it comes to aged sites ranking.
