Too much information to process, Plus I am VERY anal when It comes to making decision. I get hung up on the smallest thing.

I have found a two word keyword.

27,100 exact match average searches per month

40,100 searches exact match last month. Source Google planner

CPC of 3.49 with high ad competition

Six sites with a 0 Page rank on the first page of Google. With two sites having
a PR of 2 and two sites having a PR of 3

Most pages in the Top 10 have 0 back links to the page and no site has over
20 back links to the pages

A youtube Vid is the Top result.

Not much heavy targeting at all of the keyword in the top 10's Title, URL and description.

Only 1,600,000 returned results in Google and 350,000 actually have the
Keyword in the site.

I am willing to build out an authority site.

I found this keyword by researching something culturally that a lot of people don't know about.

What I want to know, Is it ok for SEO sake to add a suffix to an exact match keyword because the exact match Domain is not available? For example keywordhq.com. I can get the keyword in the domain if I add a suffix.

Also, what do you guys think of my keyword, should I go for it?

Thanks for any help.

Definitely, no problem. Not sure how much benefit there is to having the keyword in the domain these days though, personally I would rather go with something brandable if you're planning to build an authority site.

Also, while the numbers you quoted seem good enough, make sure you have a clear strategy from start to finish on how to actually make the site valuable, and even more important, how you can best monetize it. Nothing sucks more than spending a ton of time on a site only to find yourself losing interest because it didn't match your expectations as far as making money goes. If your only plan is to slap Adsense on it, my advice is to think again...

I was hoping that this way of thinking would be nonexistent in 2014.

      Sadly, my mistake.

No offense, really, but your whole post is just full of BS that has
nothing to do with how google ranks sites.

If you build it, they will come....is a lousy business model.
