A question for PBN users, do you blast your PBN sites with GSA or Scrapebox?

or do you guys create tier 1, tier 2 for your PBN sites?

like this:

PBN member site1 = blast

or

PBN member site1 = links from tier 1 (different sites) = then blast these?

I try not to do this too often. I'd rather spend time finding better domains to buy. But some cases where I find this useful:
    • Domain isn't in my niche and needs a little backlink anchor push in the right direction
    • Domain is in my niche, but lacks link juice

I'm getting the most mileage out of separating my T1 PBN with 2 layers of Web 2.0s. Not only is it safer, but it yields the best result. (I've tried direct spam on the PBN, 1 layer of Web 2.0, etc).

    Example:

    Money Site < PBN < Web 2 < Web 2 < GSA Spam

Also, I don't use spun content at the PBN level. I'll use high quality spun articles at the first Web 2.0 level, low quality at the 2nd, and lowest quality at the GSA level.

    Hope this helps.

I sometimes send high PR blog comment links (> PR 2), I have found using Scrapebox into the sitemaps of my PBNs.

Why on earth would I spam my valuable expensive high PR domains with worthless spam like GSA?

I buy them cause they already have links so that I don't have to spam them with utter garbage.

If you have to spam your domains to get results you're buying the wrong (weak) domains.

        My thoughts exactly.

these were not valuable expensive high PR domains to start with, just want to bump up their link profiles.

Lol okay, up to you then, I wouldn't want to get links from spammed domains, could just as well use web2.0's for that purpose, although you probably deal with deletion rates there.

Such domains with spammy link profile doesn't hold any value. Those links from your PBN are more or less worthless.

        THIS.

That's the whole point of buying domains for a PBN. They already have authority, you don't have to link build to them. What's the point of spam checking domains if you're just going to spam them yourself?

GSA SER would lend itself much better to a churn and burn campaign. Don't taint an already authoritative domain like that.

Nothing makes me cringe more when I see a domain that at one point in time had highly authoritative high PR backlinks with natural anchors and was picked up by a spammer and now all the anchors are "Louis Vuitton" and "Chanel Handbags" from Chinese sites.

Sometimes I want to punch my screen as I think to myself, damn you for tainting this otherwise pristine domain.

Hopefully they had at least made some money off of it before they tarnished the domain.

I wish the word "blast" was blacklisted from all IM forums too.

You will ruin a good expired domain with spam links. Just buy good expired domains and you won't need to spam them.

Your PBN domains should already have good backlink profiles. There should be no need to "blast" them with anything.

If for some reason you're going to include a new, or PR0, site in your PBN, then I'd build it up by having a few "backup" PR3/PR4 sites used just for that purpose. As in, a PR3 site you don't backlink to money sites, but just put maybe a 6 - 10 backlinks on it to various PBN sites to boost them. But really, it's best to just initially buy strong sites for the PBN so you can forget about backlinking to them in any way, shape or form.

Don't blast quality domains with low quality links. You'll ruin the trust of that domain. What is Google going to think about a domain with thousands of spammy links pointing at it?

Never blast links. From my experimentation, only contextual links work. I also hide all other crawlers other than Google and Bing.
