Why Does This Have To Be So Difficult?!

I have a few questions about keywords, and I would appreciate an explanation more than you know! I am going to lose my mind!!

1. Is there a program that generates keywords for free?
2. How many keywords should you have in one campaign for adwords?
3. In adwords editor, I have put a couple keywords in and it says "Pending review" Now is google going to approve those before I submit my ad, or am I going to grow old waiting, because I have to submit the ad first before they look at them?
4. Do I have to put each keyword in individually, or is there a way to import all of em once I get a keyword generator?

I know I'm a huge pain in the ass right now, but I'm new to the whole internet marketing thing.. I'm trying to figure this out, but it's driving me insane..

I appreciate anyone that takes the time to help me out.

If you are going to use adwords to drive traffic to an actual website that sells stuff do yourself a favor and take however much time is necessary to really understand what you're doing.

Option 2 (maybe 1) is hire someone to do it for you. Buying advertising, wether it's adwords or media buys can be extremely expensive if you just go in blind.

    So, to answer your questions...

    1. Yes - the google keyword planner is free and it's a great tool.

    2. As many as you can track - again this is all about what's generating profit and what isn't. There's no hard and fast rule. But if you're brand new and just going to throw money at it, putting a campaign out there with 1,000 keywords will be a losing proposition.

3 and 4 - I haven't ran any campaigns for a while so can't be much help. But I've generally had pretty quick turnaround when keywords were being reviewed. Usually 24 hours or so I think. And I'm almost positive there is software that you can upload mass keywords.
