I spent the last week building my site fluxnews.org and my next step is Facebook & Twitter. I've already begun making articles on the site. What comes next?

Assuming your site structure and on page SEO is good, link building comes next. Lots of it.

So, after you have finished creating your site and building social media, the next immediate step is to write at least 30 useful posts on your site and build links. For link building purposes, you can bookmark your articles, share them with blogging communities, comment on other blogs, do press release submission and do guest posting. This is the link building starter. Once this is done, then will come the advanced link building processes.

Engage with people on social media and direct them to your site. The only thing this will cost you is time. If people aren't responding to your content -- you may need to retool the site itself. Once the site is optimize then you can go ahead and take promotional efforts to scale.

Use your social media platform to spread your content. If it's useful to your niche you will start getting social shares. It's pretty much rinse and repeat. Just keep posting on a regular basis.

There are so many things to do when it comes to managing a blog, and i'm sure you already got great advice.

But you shouldn't forget about probably the most important job, which is to add quality content on a regular basis. There's no point in building an audience if you don't keep them entertained.
