I was thinking of placing a ppc ad for the company called ACN. I found that the other ppc ads didn't have acn in the ad. They would try to hid it by showing: AC N, or changing it to ANC. What do you guys know about this?

That's right. You can bid on any brand term you like. Some, but not all, you can have that name in your ad. The owner of that brand has to tell Google they don't want their brand appearing in ads. Happens all the time as companies become more aware of PPC advertising. All of a sudden, you get an email from Google saying your ad is now against the TOS.

By the way, I'm aware of ACN, my sister is into this MLM communications company. From what she tells me, they don't allow you to use PPC as a way of advertising.
