How to prioritize keywords for SEO?

Hi,

I'm struggling with how to prioritize keywords for SEO efforts for an ecommerce website and which tools to buy (Semrush or Market Samurai).

I run an ecommerce which has 500 products. Let's say each product has 30 related keywords, so there are 15,000 keywords I could focus.

To priorizite, I'd like to get the keyword ecommerce conversion rate. But Google Analytics doesn't provide keyword conversion rate anymore (90% of it shows: 'not provided').

Is there a way around this? How do you prioritize?

    Use action & buying keywords, keywords with high search and medium competition from other advertisers, and keywords on that do not have heavy competition on the first page.

    This formula has worked for me. The action keyword brings is self-targeting and brings in interested traffic immediately, the medium competition means that other advertisers are also interested and all you have to do is beat them(no sweat), and low competition on the first page makes it easy to rank and get that easy traffic.

    Get keywords that have all these three aspects and you're off to a good start.

    You should already know what your best selling products are outside of SEO, start with those products/keywords & work backwards.

    Traffic volume alone doesn't always mean best overall keyword.

    Use long tail keywords with low or medium competition but high searches. This type of keyword selection will help you to prioritize your keywords and improve ranking of your website.

    Targeting keyword is depends on your product. You have to choose which keyword is important for you...So try to promote most important keyword and then secondary keywords

      I just didn't get everything from Toplinks reply. What I've understood:

      - Three ways are:
      1- buy keywords with high search and medium competition that other advertisers are buying;
      2- rank for low competition keywords on the first page
      3- ?
