I was ranking well with my PBN, and then I forgot to check the cblock of a new site I created and I found our after I had backlinked it to my money site that it was on the same c block as a site that was already linked. I was position 20 for my target keyword and it then completely fell from google, so once I realized what I did wrong I removed the backlinks from the sites with the shared c block. Do you think it possible that I could still rank for my target keyword, or has google permanently penalized me.

I'm still ranking for my keywords on other sub pages, they haven't changed at all. I still have a two PBN sites pointing to my money site but they're definitely on different cblocks. I'm using a reseller account to do this.

I'm just wondering if anyone has ever had this happen to them, or if they think I can restore the ranking in time now that I've removed the backlinks from the cblock.

Plus if I was too migrate the domains that were on the same c block to different ips and c blocks do you think I could point them back at my money site or would this not be safe to do.

2 links from the same C-block is not going to get a site penalized.

Agreed. If it was THAT easy to trip a penalty/filter then negative SEO would be even worse than it already is. Something else accounted for your loss in rank.

Ok thank you I appreciate your feedback.

It seems very coincidental that I added the backlink and a few hours later I lose the ranking on google. However there is another possibility that I have pondered.

One of the pbn sites pointing to my site, was actually ranking for the same keyword as my money site. Again I know this was a stupid error on my part, I put the keyword in the title of the page, however I didn't think it would rank but it did. (I've now removed the keyword from the title of that page but it hasn't updated in the search index and google is still ranking the page for my targeted keyword.)

That pbn site was approaching closer to where my money site was in SERP, I don't know if this would cause google to penalize my money site for the same keyword.

I didn't use any anchor text, I just wrote my address. I'm thinking by having the PBN site rank for the same keyword as the money site, I've somehow exposed it the PBN too google although I'm not sure on this.

Or perhaps I should have left it longer too add a link from another PBN site, because I added it only one week after I added the previous one. I made all the PBN domains relevant.

I don't know where I should go from here, I removed the links that shared the same c block so I guess all I can do now is leave it and wait it out to see if it recovers.

One of the sites that I removed the link from was using an exact match keyword for the anchor text, however this wasn't causing any problems but maybe it caused a problem when I added a link from the other site on the same c block as it had more link juice.

I have learned that it's not worth using anchor text that matches your keyword at all now, I thought you could minimally but even using your keyword twice in anchor texts seems to cause a loss in rankings, as I've experimented with this myself.
