Is that possible to be at the first page on Google in my niche?

I started a blog about dog training (I want to make money from ads)
I don't affiliate any products..
my blog can be at the first page with SEO? and how much time it might take?
there are so many blogs in this niche so I'm wondering if it's worth?

    Of course any site can be on the "first page" of SERP results for a very obscure term. If you are just looking for ranking a very broad term like "dog training" it is unlikely that you will ever make the first page of any major (Google, Bing) search engine.

    It is more likely that you could rank for more specific terms - a particular type of training or for a particular breed of dog. Whether that can happen, and how long it would take, depends on how much competition there is for the particular term.

      but should I change my blog's topic to something more specific,
      or it's enough to write some specific articles with the keyword to be on the pirst page?

        There are 600 breeds of dogs I believe and 20 are the main breeds people like. Check out Weimaranerproblems and look on the side bar at the keywords being used. Hopefully that may give you some ideas.

          Fundamental SEO works this way, they rank pages not site.

          Each page in your site can rank higher than others and it all depens on your on and off page optimization.

          Easiest way to rank is to use keyword research tools like long tail pro, firefox browser, secockpit etc and look for keywords people are searching for that you can rank easier.

          Use long tail keywords as well.


          Create youtube videos for your blog and make sure to share it on social media.

          Create backlinks for your blog post manually or a service, pick your choice and you should see yourself on top of google in a few weeks.
