Hello Members,

My website about True Love Stories is about stories, So the content is real and written by the visitors itself.. I have around 600 visitors a day, But the clicking rate is 1-2 clicks a day maximum... I have another website with is targeting USA automobiles, Which have same number of visitors too but clicking rate is almost 40-60 clicks/day...

I am using same theme, Same ad positions.. everything is same except the content... I would like your valueable suggestions, Should i change the theme? Or should i change the ads placement..

I am getting visitors from all over the world, But 50% From India and 30% from US..

Looking forward to hear from you guys !!

600 uvs and just 1-2 clicks?

are you sure they are real visitors and not bots (google, ahrefs etc) if the visitors are real then may be try these?

    a) check if ads are relevant or not, if not then block irrelevant ads.
    b) experiment with position, size and colors of the ads

Yes, I am sure the traffic is original and not bots.. Checked the traffic with webmasters and analytics, Even many of the keywords are on top on google..

I have blocked the Irrelevant ads already,,

I have changed the theme, Previously i had different theme and i was mixing the ads with the content, But i believe people are so technical these a days, And they know difference between ads and content....

As of now i am using a small banner at start of the content, Sidebards(link ads) and skyscraper at the right and left side..

      Any suggestions??

Have a look and do some research on heatmapping your website. There's plugins and apps avaialble for it to see where people's mouses are on the website.

Also look at ad positioning heatmaps and where and how to get the most clicks from visitors.

Change the colors from the horrible standard pre-2000 green and blue and make the ads look nice. Try a sans serif font as well like Tahoma or Arial.

Also - put a big square ad in your content that is either left or right aligned at the top. Get rid of the left skyscraper and use that third ad to use IN your content where people are looking

Just to say something... Most people will click an ad if ONLY they are interested. People that are looking for those automobiles keywords might be interested in the ads, while people that visit your other website (about the stories!) could only want to share their stories, but I can't remember of any GOOD ad that might catch people's attention!
