Hi

I am trying to get my website to page #1 on Google. Ive created a sitemap and submitted it to Google and started creating backlinks to my site by posting on forums, what more can i do to turbo boost traffic to my website? please share your methods with me.

    When you create backlinks, you do not get traffic. On the other hand, there are some places where those two are usually together but the latter being minimal.

    For example, if you have a link to your site from your signature or if you publish a blog comment. Usually, a few readers will take a look at your website.

    As I continue to type this reply and take a look at the question again, it made me think... why do you have a website that sells traffic in your signature and now you are asking how to drive traffic?

    To rank highly in the search engine you have to target specific keywords to rank for. Then you have to optimize your website for those words and then build a diverse steady flow of back links to your site. Alternatively, Facebook paid ads might be worth a look.
