301 redirect or PBN

Hi,

I recently purchased an expired domain which is a PR3 and has the keywords I am targeting in the domain name. I have already setup a niche site using a brandable domain name and was intending on using the expired domain to start a private blog network and create a backlink to my niche site. Since I'm new to the world of SEO, I was wondering whether it would be better from an seo point of view to do a 301 redirect or use the domain as part of a private blog network as I originally intended? Any advice would be much appreciated

      If it's just 1 I see no issue's.

      Lately I setup 4 redirects to a domain and the rankings dropped back to the level where they were before I set up those redirects making it useless so seems Google stops counting them when you setup too many or in a way that's too unnatural (in my case the domains were completely irrelevant).

        SEO is not just churn and burn, except in cases you go for it.

        If you want your site to have a durable effect, set up a solid PBN and use authoritative domains to ensure quality PBN.

        Since google's last update it seems that "relevance" is another important aspect that has to be taken care of.

        If you intend to have a PBN, it must be solid, thus your domains has to be or to become niche targeted. Your domain is already niche targeted, as you say, so just set up quality content and start your PBN blog building.
