Hey guys! As an Internet Marketer I always strive to take in as much information as I can regarding SEO. I have been familiar with the idea behind SEOBOOK.COM for quite some time now, however Ive been a little hesitent to drop 300 dollars on a subscription. Has anyone had experience with these guys? If so, would you recommend it?

thank you!
john

I'm not a fan either, these days you can find better data for free online via forums like this one. No need to waste your money.

It is worth noting selection bias. Most people who spend lots of time on free forums (or forums free of upfront cost but monetized in other ways) are not likely to be the type of people who would value a paid one.

In spite of the above selection bias, there have been some other past threads on here with feedback from a number of our customers.

A spammy internet marketing technique would be to create fake accounts to write praise from and/or to point the thread out to friends or current customers & ask them to post, however in my estimation I'd say most people who spend significant time on this forum would NOT be likely to be a good fit for our membership site.

Wow. Really? So this thread will most likely get read by a lot of people over time. And so instead of actually telling people why the site is so valuable and worth the $300, you post that? I find that so odd when this entire business is about "selling" products.
