As the title says, what would you do if one competitor outrank your client's video?
From Google and Youtube?

And on the other hand, how can this be done?

I already have some solutions but I'd like to hear you sharing your experience about this.

I would be interested in hearing your solution as ranking youtube videos is something i would love any information on. I can't rank youtube videos on google so i will be lucky to even show it on google in the first place

I would probably eat a sandwich then build some links.

I would not have thought of sandwich, but it makes sense.

And point it to your video, or competitor's? Google is not clueless about link spam, although I hear it can work if you know what you're doing.

Links in signature will not help your SEO. Not on this site, and not on any other forum.
Who told me this? An ex Google web spam engineer.

        What's your excuse?

Using GSA bring good results if, in fact you know what you are doing, but imagine having two guys competing between them using GSA both of them.

Who would win? I think that it would be an eternal battle.

The one who's video does better job selling the viewer.

I would promote my video heavily on other social media sites.

I guess that's supposed to mean you would give up on SEO because social isn't ranking anything in Google SERPs.

According to my point of view, your competitor done flagging for your video, That's why your client's video outranked from YouTube and Google. Keep private your video on YouTube is one and only solution for saving your client's video.

It's simple. Do what you did to rank in the first place over and over again until you outrank your competitor.
