Uniques after two months of launching site

I have been talking to a couple of friends, and all of them stated that it would take 6 to 8 months to see organic traffic grow. My question is, i am at 450 uniques a day, so am i doing okay? most of the traffic is from the links i built - Google sends only about 30 - 40 a day from organic searches.

    So you mean you have links that are giving you juice AND traffic directly? That's a win-win but at 40 UV organically it also tells me that your serps isn't that great.

      40 a day unique traffic from serps is great that is 1200 a month great!. Nicely done my friend. Keep going. eventually when you put in the required work for that massive amount of traffic, it will come.

      Keep working man, look to the future, where would you like your site to be in 3 years??

    Getting 30 to 40 UV a day from google organic results is not a bad start at all.

    * Create more contents / articles
    * Create and promote your social media accounts
    * Have a subscription option for your newsletters to capture leads
    * Participate in Nice Relevant forum discussions with your url in signature field
    * Comment manually with thoughtful comments in Niche relevant sites to gain authority and traffic
    * Last but not least do not forget to do build back links to your site.

    If you follow all these steps, you will be receiving much more traffic over a period of few months.
