I have a small pbn I been working on and so far, due to my limited knowledge I'm putting all of my domains on word press sites. I hope to end up with a total of about 20 sites.

I'm thinking that maybe I need to mix it up some but don't know how to use anything other than wordpress.

So today I've been looking at other blogging platforms for my new domains but don't want to launch something only to find out that I've created a small nightmare of a learning curve for myself.

Are any of the other blogging platforms as easy to deploy as wordpress? I know nothing about them.

So my question is if I use different themes and stay with wordpress will this be enough to avoid a footprint?

I just launched a site the other day with their free 2014 theme and it was a breeze. I have a couple more domains I bought and wanted to send them up but am just concerned that I'm over doing the word press thing.

Any thoughts?

Is to much of a good thing a bad thing?

With only 20 sites, you are probably okay.

One simple thing you can do is use a site like Tumblr or Blogger. They both let you use your own domain, and you just point the nameservers to them. Both are simple to use.

Saves a few bucks on hosting too.

I'm sure there are other platforms like those that allow you to do the same thing.

Wouldn't he be putting himself at risk by using blogger ? its google and the last thing you want to do be is near them. I mean one small mess up and bam your whole network is found out.

What more information are you giving Google if it is on Blogger that they aren't seeing if it is hosted elsewhere?

Your IP (for each post), postings style (so they can link sites in your network to you).

I don't know maybe i am too paranoid about this but google is too ******* smart and i am too lazy. I login to my PBNs in a virtual machine cause i am scared of the network being find out!

So what if google knows your IP on one site? They have no way of knowing your IP when you login to other sites. Using a virtual machine is silly.

              Hey kid,

Are you using different themes for each domain? Wordpress is so popular there is very little risk of being detected....just make sure you use different themes on each domain.

Yes I'm using different themes. Some posts just fluff, and pictures added. It's working really well so far.

Try looking up some flat file CMSs - they are generally VERY quick to setup and many are not too difficult to get to grips with. Some may take 30 minutes to master while others can take a couple of hours but if you intend to expand beyond 20 sites then you must diversify your platforms.

Everyone has there preferences but even for 20 sites I wouldn't personally have more than 6 or 7 Wordpress sites (but then I'm quite paranoid!).

What are flat file cms's, can you recommend a few?

I know that a cms is a content managed system. And I'm paranoid too .

That and I love and hate google at the same time. They cause me so much internal conflict.

A flat file CMS is one that doesn't use a database to store the content. That's a very basic explanation but they are generally very small in size (some have less than 100 files total) and might use another method of storage such as XML.

PM me and I'll recommend some but I'm not giving away a list here because quite frankly I don't want the world and his dog to be setting up identical looking PBNs.

Wordpress is the most widely used CMS in the world. I see the same themes (WP2014 is quite nice using it now) over dozens and dozens of sites all real sites. Why use discretion at all?

Because I've invested heavily in my small pbn. When all things are considered probably between $15K-$20K.

            What are all things?

A course to learn how to build a PBN from the industries accepted authority. (thanks again mr anthony)
            Different hosting accounts.
Different themes free and paid for.
Time to Vet the domains I won at auction.
Time to Vet the domains I didn't win at auction.
            Private Registration for all domains.
The time it takes to build each site out so that it looks and feels natural to anybody snooping it out.
The price of the domains I buy... Which are of the highest quality.. Mega highest quality even. I don't skimp here because there's to much involved with setting them up. Then there are other things that I'm forgetting.

My pbn is small but it's a beast, cuz I spent the cash and am doing it right. I have way to much to lose. This is my future, and it's the only one I have at this time.

But why anybody would build a pbn and not do it right is beyond me.

Then again, I'm a autodidact, MBTI - INTJ personality, with an obsessive, compulsive nature about myself that absolutely cannot stand to lose. I'm all about winning with overall strategy and think 2nd place finishers are high scoring losers.

I will even cheat at something to win if I'm fairly certain I won't get caught.

Hit me up if you ever need to hide a body. I'll prolly turn you down, but it would make for a great story.

That's all fine and dandy but the only real problem people have with a PBN being exposed is from...

              wait for it....

              not yet....

              ok now....

              SELLING LINKS.

If this PBN is just for you I won't worry.
