Has anyone used the WordButler tool from MindValley Labs?

I just got an email for a $1 trial (geez, those $1 trials are so popular these days!)

Subscribing to the tool isn't an issue for me cost wise, but I'd appreciate comments from anyone else who's used it, and whether they've found it useful.

I can be a bit of a magpie when it comes to these kind of tools, and more often than not they end up being more a distraction!

Never heard of it. I use KeyWordDiscovery. In the end - all these tools are about the same. They have their weekeness and strenghts. I guess everyone should use the google keyword tool since they have the most info on keywords.

Yes, we have tried it out. Wordbutler is pulling data from the Google search and synonym tool.

The results you get back do not include keyword search volumes, the data served refers to adwords traffic only. Data headings include Avg. CPC for ad positions 1-3 on Google, Estimated clicks per day on Google, Estimated clicks per day on Yahoo and Estimated clicks per day on MSN.

In fact the "Help me Estimate Keyword traffic" tab when clicked dumps you onto the Google keyword tool....

I would say the only real benefit of using this tool is the grouping of the Google, Yahoo and MSN adwords data in one spot. This will save you a little time looking for data on Yahoo and then MSN but nothing much else.

Being fair but honest - I think you can do a whole lot better. The MindValley guys have a bit of work to do here before this tool can be a real consideration for internet marketers.

    Good luck.
