Hi,
So, I have a classified ads site. It has been up for about a year and I think I reach some kind off wall. My visits (organic search) doesn't increase anymore. I know about forums and article submissions but I don't see how is that helping traffic. It only works if the article/post is really popular, which will require the same kind of effort I will prefer to invest on my own site.

Are there any suggestions you could give me for my specific niche?

    So where's the AJAX question? Millions of sites use it.

    You are in competition with craigslist, FB, ebay, etc.

    I would imagine that the majority of your problem is just that.
    Very narrow niche.

    Your best be would be to advertise where people need to post ads,
    country and language specific. Perhaps even on craigslist(?)

    Ajax does not mess up your SEO progress. I had a website that was 100% ajax actually and it ranked very well for some seriously strong keywords.
