After reading some SEO articles regarding the latest Panda updates, I have deleted more than 20 articles with less than 200 words and some more are lined up. I have also edited some articles and increased the words - of course, no filler content. I would like to know, what should be my next step? Should I build a sitemap and submit so that search engines get the fresh stuff through it?
Please throw some light on it.
Thanks

whoa whoa whoa. Stop. Why in the world would you delete 20 articles. It doesn't matter if there less then 200 words, your going to hurt you site more deleting them then leaving them.

Having a 200 word article isnt gonna get you slapped. All of that deleting was unnecessary and a waste of time. Idk who you heard that from but I wouldn't listen to them.

The Panda Update - I guess that told (me) to have quality content. And even if we say that 200 word article will have quality and a 600 word article wouldn't have it as it is possible to write all the blah blah blah to increase the words, one has to admit that more words would mean more content and more quality.
You will be able to cover more topics in a 600-word article than a 200-word one, right?
