Google Local Listing

by kavkazi 1 replies
I have a Google local listing which was ranked on google.ca. The listing is relatively new and I haven't had a chance to optimize it (add quality website url, reviews, citations, etc). It used to show up on the first page when searching for the primary category "personal injury lawyer Orangeville". But since last week it doesn't show up anymore for that particular search. Even in some cases where there is no competition!! Any idea why this could have happened? It still shows up as the only one for other variations of the keyword. Example: personal injury lawyers Orangeville.

I noticed this to with our listing, keeps dropping off and coming back, dropping off, coming back. I think it is going through some algo changes. It will then rank your keyword for different search terms than what your looking at. Go to your google places account and view the insights. See what keywords it is pulling up under now.
