Big name websites and keywords

Very quick question guys.

Do big name content marketing (but not associated with internet marketing) websites like LifeHacker and similar aim to optimize keywords as part of their on-page SEO efforts?

It doesn't look like it. I guess their authority is already way beyond the point of worrying about this. They're writing 100% for the audience and depend on good content being shared rather than found. Does that sound right?

From what I've seen they don't really focus so much on on-page seo but they do target keywords and create their content around them.

    Hey

All of the big name companies do some sort of keyword optimization, but most likely, they are paying big money to get very high in Google serps.

It is possible to rank for the keywords similar to the ones they use but keep in mind, your payment will have to be either a lot of time, or a lot of money.

    Hope this helps!
